In education, the term professional development may be used in reference to a wide variety of specialized training, formal education, or advanced professional learning intended to help students to improve their professional knowledge, competence, skill, and effectiveness, however, it may be difficult to determine precisely what “professional development” is referring to.


The objectives behind establishing the committee are:

      1. The most crucial goal is to create an environment that encourages open communication amongst all students.

      2. To develop the ability to deal with difficult situations professionally. The application includes skills for handling of clients in future.

      3. Improving one’s creative ability involves looking for new and innovative approaches to everyday situations. to encourage the use  of       

          computers  and technology in learning process.

ACHIEVEMENTS

ONE DAY WORKSHOP ON Basic Of Computer Skills On 31-10-2022, Committee for Professional Development Committee of Rayat College of Law organized workshop on computer basics skills on Monday , 31 Oct. 2022 on the topic basics of computer . It was Organized by the convener Ms. Sahibjot Kaur ( Asst. Professor of Law) and Ms. Balwinder Kaur (Asst. Professor of Law ). Under the guidance of principal mam Dr. Monika Sharma . Ms. SukhwinderKaur (Asst. Prof.) department of Electronics and communication Engineering .from Rayat Institute of Engineering and Information Technology joined as guest speaker in the workshop . She explained various concepts relating to emails browsing and internet .LAN, MAN,VAN, word processing and powerpoint presentation . The participants learned a lot from the ppts shown and explained by her. The workshop revealed many aspects of power point presentation. The workshop was successful event with the help of all the teachers &; student coordinators Ms.Rupreet Kaur &; Mr. Atul Aggarwal.

                   




FUTURE PLANS

     1. To organise more training sessions for Faculty and Students.
     2. To organise Workshop on professional development skills useful in courts for future
          lawyers .
