About
To realise it’s mission to create an environment for learning imbued with critical thinking and effective communication skills in addition to basic knowledge of law and an understanding of the functioning of the legal system; and to groom our students to be professionals with the highest principles of professional, ethical and moral responsibility, Rayat College of Law has established Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) of the College.

Programme Educational Objectives (PEOs) for B.A.LL.B. (Hons.)
After the completion of this programme the students should be able to:
- Imbibe the highest principles of professional, ethical and moral responsibility.
- Develop core competencies that are
essential to embark on the practice of law. These core competencies
particularly include legal analysis
i.e. knowledge of law, ability to apply law to varying factual settings and
ability to engage in legal argumentation; legal
research i.e. ability to conduct independent legal research and problem-solving.
- Hone communication skill (articulate
written and oral) in addition to basic knowledge of law and an understanding of
the functioning of the legal system.
- Develop
critical thinking and
acquire acumen to anticipate the counter point of opposite side.
- Appreciate the necessity of independent
thinking in the field of law.
Programme Learning Outcomes (PLOs) for B.A.LL.B. (Hons.) and LL.B.
- In fulfilling professional responsibility, the students will assume the role of custodian of law. While pursuing their professional goals they will remain sensitive and responsible to the needs of the society.
- After the successful completion of this course the students will have an ability to draw reasonable, logical conclusions or assumptions from limited information. Evaluative skills developed during this programme/course will enable them to prepare legal strategies required to absorbing and comprehending large amounts of information, then distilling them down into something manageable and useful. At the same time they will display a great deal of creativity in their problem solving.
- The students will be able to argue convincingly in the courtroom. They will be able to write clearly, persuasively and concisely so as to produce a variety of legal documents of highest professional standard.
- The students will be able to consider judgments critically, so that they can anticipate potential areas of weakness in their argument. Similarly, they must be able to spot points of weakness in the opposition argument.
- They will also develop an ability to take decision independently as there will be a lot of important judgment calls to make and little time for sitting on the fence.
Programme Educational Objectives (PEOs) for B.Com.LL.B. (Hons.)
After the completion of this programme the students should be able to:
- Imbibe the highest principles of professional, ethical and moral responsibility.
- Develop core competencies that are essential to embark on the practice of law. These core competencies particularly include legal analysis i.e. knowledge of law, ability to apply law to varying factual settings and ability to engage in legal argumentation; legal research and writing i.e. ability to conduct independent legal research and produce legal writings of highest professional standard and problem-solving.
- Hone communication skill (articulate written and oral) in addition to basic knowledge of law and an understanding of the functioning of the legal system.
- Appraise the swiftly dynamic trends in commercial law.
- Develop critical thinking and acquire acumen to anticipate the counter point of opposite side.
- Appreciate the necessity of independent thinking in the field of law.
Programme Learning Outcomes (PLOs) for B.Com.LL.B. (Hons.)
- In fulfilling professional responsibility, the students will assume the role of custodian of law. While pursuing his professional goals they will remain sensitive and responsible to the needs of the society.

- They will also develop an ability to take decision independently as there will be a lot of important judgment calls to make and little time for sitting on the fence.
