ABOUT SCHOLARSHIP

Punjab Scholarship scheme and National scholarship schemes are designed to provide financial support to deserving students studying at the primary school level education to higher studies. There are many reasons why someone might want to apply for the scholarship. Some reasons might include financial need, academic merit, or community involvement. These scholarships open a rich source of educational opportunities for students of Punjab who face financial hurdles to pursue their dream academic careers. Both are government-run online platform which provides students with scholarship information, easy application & submission process and various other services. This Scholarship specifically caters to the needs of domiciled students of Punjab who belong to different categories and are studying at post-matric level. In this scheme, all SC ,OBC and Minority students who are continuing their studies through regular courses are eligible to apply for the award. As per govt rules, students should pay the tuition & exam fee at the time of taking new admission and this amount will be later on transferred to the student’s bank account.


OBJECTIVES

  • *The main objective of the Punjab scholarship and National scholarship are to offer financial support to SC (scheduled caste) ,OBC(Other Backward Class) and Minority students studying post-matric and help them to complete their education.
  • *To identify eligible students for SC/ST/OBC/Minority Scholarship by the government.
  • *To identify and publicize scholarships other than the above for needy students.
  • *Submission of record to the Department and follow up.
  • *To maintain year wise fees/scholarship record.
  • *Maintenance of year wise record of all necessary documents and dropout students.

Rayat College of Law, Railmajra, Ropar has been guiding eligible students to apply for Punjab Scholarship and National Scholarship by Government. Over the last five years, 207 students have availed the benefits of these scholarships.
