Rayat College of Law has
created a mechanism for redressal of students grievances related to academic
and non academic matters, such as assessment, victimization, attendance, charging
of fees, conducting of examinations, harassment by colleague students or
teachers etc. There is Grievance Redressal Cell at campus level to deal with
the grievance of the students.
Objectives
1.
To develop the environment to resolve
grievances of students.
2.
To provide the students access to immediate, hassle free recourse to have their
grievances redressed.
3.
To enlighten the students on their duties and responsibilities to access
benefits due under the policies.

To establish structured interactions with students to elicit information on
their expectations.
5
To institute a monitoring mechanism to oversee the functioning of the grievance
Redressal committee.
Working:
· The
function of the cell is to look into the complaints lodged by any student. Anyone
with a genuine grievance may approach the any member of the cell.
· In
case the student is unwilling to appear in person, grievances may be dropped in
writing at the suggestion box.
· The
grievance cell will assure that the grievance has been properly solved in a stipulated
time period.
· Any
grievance or complaint made without disclosing identity to the committee shall
not be taken into consideration. Frivolous complaints will attract disciplinary
action by the college authorities.
